Amazon Web Services (AWS) and OpenAI have officially expanded their collaboration, building on an earlier milestone announced on 27 February 2026, when both companies first revealed their partnership to bring advanced AI models into the AWS ecosystem.
Today, that partnership takes a major step forward. GPT-5.4 is now available directly in Amazon Bedrock, as announced by AWS. This allows businesses to access OpenAI’s latest model natively within AWS, making it much easier to integrate powerful AI into existing applications and workflows.
At the same time, Amazon also confirmed that GPT-5.5 is already on the way and expected to arrive within the next few weeks, highlighting how quickly the platform is evolving.
For OpenAI, this partnership strengthens its presence in enterprise environments by leveraging AWS’s global infrastructure. For AWS, it enhances its AI offerings by integrating one of the most advanced model families directly into Bedrock.
Overall, this development shows how the partnership is moving from announcement to real-world deployment. With GPT-5.4 now live and GPT-5.5 coming soon, the focus is clearly on faster delivery, tighter integration, and making cutting-edge AI more accessible to businesses at scale.
